Free printable templates
The documents a business fills in over and over, each one ready to fill in on the page, copy, print or download as a Word document or a spreadsheet. Every page also sets out what the law says the document must contain, checked against the source.
Click into any template to type over the parts in brackets, then copy it, print it on its own, or download it. It all happens in your browser: nothing asks for your email, and nothing you type is stored or sent anywhere.
The rules around each one are the part most templates leave out. An invoice has a list of things it must show, a VAT invoice has a longer one, a quote for work agreed in a customer's home has to carry a cancellation notice, and a letter before action to a sole trader follows a court protocol with its own enclosures. Each page names the source for every one of those statements and the date it was read.
Each page ends the same way: with what keeping the document up by hand actually costs. The template is rarely the slow part. Copying the same details into it every week is, and the free tools put a number on that.
